About this event
What is the future of election administration in the United States?
Join us for a timely virtual event exploring the future of election administration in the United States. Featuring a free screening of THE OFFICIALS, a 26-minute documentary from Civics Films, this session kicks off a national outreach effort during Voter Education Week to spotlight the vital, nonpartisan work of election administrators.
THE OFFICIALS offers a compelling look at the people behind our democratic process—those who safeguard free and fair elections with integrity and resilience.
Following the film, a live panel will bring together filmmakers, election experts, and civic leaders to discuss the challenges facing election administration and how we can support its depoliticization and durability.
Panelists include:
• Jeanette Senecal, League of Women Voters
• Maggie Toulouse Oliver, Secretary of State, New Mexico
• Tonya Wichman, Director of Elections, Defiance County, Ohio
• Margo Guernsey & Sara Archambault, Filmmakers of THE OFFICIALS and No Time To Fail
