Muncie-Delaware County League member key presenter featuring local WWII women

Local League Member Melissa Gentry was a key presenter at the program, "We Can Do It: Notable Delaware County Women of WWII," given as a part of Ball State's Cultural and Personal Enrichment Programs last month at the Carnegie Library in Muncie. Gentry is Supervisor at GIS Research and Map Collection, University Libraries at Ball State, and she gives presentations on Indiana suffragists in history.
Featuring stories of notable Delaware County women who experienced World War II, members of the history panel highlighted the lives of women in the military and civilian women on the home front.
Other members of the panel were Karen Good, Ancestor Hunters Chair, Delaware County Historical Society, Sara McKinley, Local History & Genealogy Supervisor, Muncie Public Library Karen Vincent, President, Delaware County Historical Society Moderator Sarah Allison, Head of Archives User Engagement, University Libraries, Ball State University.
